FAQs

How do we sign up?

Text and set up an appointment to tour the studio and talk about your student. If you want to see if we’re the right match, we offer one-hour-long trial sessions. Parents/guardians must sign a release of liability and agree to our policies before the start of class.

How many classes can we take?

As many as you’d like! Depending on your student, we offer once-a-week classes for set times or limited studio access throughout the week. Our Portfolio students have access to our facilities the most so that they can work at their own pace.

How do we pay?

At the moment, we accept cash, check, credit card, and Zelle. You may pay for a month or up to a year at a discounted rate. If the month has 5 weeks we add the 5th class for free.

What about supplies?

Your tuition covers basic communal supplies like pencils, paint, and markers. Students must bring their own sketchbooks or other surfaces to make art on. We may require students to buy certain supplies for specific projects.

Rules for Students

  • Please dress comfortably for class and be aware that things can get dirty due to paint and other materials.

  • Bring a water bottle and snacks are only allowed if approved by a teacher beforehand in case of allergies.

  • Only registered students and parents are allowed in the classrooms.

  • Parents/guardians must accompany students when arriving and departing.

  • Students should be respectful of fellow students and teachers. Warnings will be given for inappropriate behavior.

  • Students are responsible for their own supplies meaning they should be taken care of and put away at the end of each class.

  • Any personal belongings (including artwork, supplies, etc…) left behind and not claimed within 30 days will be discarded or donated.

What is the refund/ cancellation policy?

We offer credit for classes if your student is not able to attend classes for the time being. There are NO refunds if you decide to cancel due to ANY reason. You will forfeit your tuition if there is no notification of cancellation (verbal/written) within 24 hours of payment. If you will miss a class please let us know as soon as possible so we can reschedule you or add your hours as credit. We reserve the right to cancel or modify classes at any time, including changing teachers, times, or class sizes.
